Testing shows Xypex Admix compatibility with SRA

Engineers are increasingly specifying concrete containing Xypex Admix and shrinkage reducing additives.

Evidence from past projects has not indicated any issues with the performance and compatability of these additives, however formal testing had not been done.

Recent testing on 30MPa concrete has shown that the addition of Xypex Admix did not change the performance of concrete containing a shrinkage reducing additive. Testing was performed by Firth Industries and Opus International Consultants according to the method of AS 1012.13-1992.
